Of all Spain’s airports Malaga registered the greatest increase in passenger numbers in January. During the first month of the year a total of 629,799 passengers used the airport, 10.8 per cent up on last year and three percentage points above the national average. This growth rate just goes to confirm the urgency of the so-called Plan Director for the expansion of the airport. In January 7,217 flights took off or landed at Malaga Airport.
