In Spain it is usual the vendor pays the real estate agent. The commissions we get paid are more or less based on the same percentage. That is why we can remain objective.

During your stay it is important not to get registered by the developer or the agent of the vendor. Afterwards they will not accept your real estate agent as your advisor; therefore it will not be possible for your agent to offer his services for free. It is quiet easy; do you see an interesting property? Let your real estate agent do the work for you. The selling agent does not like to answer a lot of complicated questions; we know what is important and will investigate for you. You as purchaser will benefit from this.
